The easiest smoothie to make, ever!
My Banana and Mixed Berry Smoothie is a nice little energy booster that tastes great and is REALLY easy to make.
I prefer to go with the ‘less is more’ approach to smoothies, otherwise they become too much of a faff to do and I end up not bothering. Smoothies are a great breakfast option for me, perhaps it might appeal to you too!
The simplest ingredients can produce the best flavoured smoothies ever! You will need:
- 2 medium bananas (you know, not enormous, but not those children’s fun sized ones 😉 )
- 1 full handful of mixed summer berries, I recommend the frozen ones you can get from most supermarkets
- 1 hand-blender and measuring beaker (500ml sized is perfect)
- 1/2 glass of water (about 150ml)
Chop up the bananas and pop them and the mixed berries in the hand-blender measuring beaker. I recommend that if you are using the frozen berries, make sure they are slightly thawed out, then they won’t break the blade in the hand blender! Then top up with about 150ml of tap water. Blend the wotsits out of it for about a minute, pour into a glass, put your feet up and enjoy!
Simple, quick, healthy and well….yummy!
