Another inspiring talk – this week from the amazing, straight talking and entertaining Mel Robbins.
This talk ‘How to stop screwing yourself over’ I really found inspiring.
Mel talks such sense to me. It’s about not being ‘fine’ with your life, making changes rather than settling for the mediocre and finding your ‘activation energy’ to make a change and DO IT!
It’s not easy to start to make a change, she believes you have to force yourself in order to make that change, whatever it is. Anything that is a break from your usual routine is going to have to be forced. But it can be done.
Feeling stuck and dissatisfied doesn’t mean you are unhappy, it means that our human need for exploration, to grow and develop is calling you to upgrade and make a change.
The 5 second rule between impulse and action…well, listen to the talk and let me know what you think. I shall be practising the 5 second rule for the rest of the day and see what happens!
